Common Ground
Fall,
2009
Who
are we?
The twentysomething group of
First CRC is called Common Ground, because whether
you are working or studying, many young adults
are facing similar questions, struggles, and
decisions and we can all find common ground
with each other through Christ.
What
do we do?
Every other week after the morning (10 a.m.)
service, we head over to Pastor Willemina's
place for a home-cooked lunch. It's a
time to hang-out and connect. We also try to
plan a few social events throughout the year:
playing games, watching movies, bowling, skating,
tobogganing, and whatever else the group feels
like doing.
Need
Transportation??
Come downstairs (in church) to the information desk
for directions to lunch or to find a ride. We'll make sure you get to lunch
and then back home afterwards.
